Meet Kristina
Hi, I’m Kristina Mankins, a dedicated dental hygienist in alternative practice and orofacial myofunctional therapist proudly serving the Central Coast. I’ve been passionate about oral health since the beginning of my career in 2011, and every day I’m grateful to help people feel confident in their smiles.
I was born and raised right here on the Central Coast, so caring for my neighbors and giving back to the community I grew up in means a lot to me. Whether it’s helping you maintain a healthy routine or easing dental anxiety with a gentle touch, I’m here to make your visit comfortable and positive.
With over a decade of hands-on experience, I stay current with the latest hygiene techniques and focus on preventive care, patient education, and building long-term relationships with those I care for. I believe dental visits should be both informative and empowering.
Having specialized training in treating patients with developmental and physical disabilities, I’m passionate about creating a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment where every patient feels valued and understood. It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to serve this community, helping improve oral health and overall well being through compassionate and individualized care.
Aside from treating patients, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various leadership roles within the Central Coast Dental Hygienists' Society, including President, Trustee, and Student Liaison. At the state level, I served as the Student Relations Council Chair for the California Dental Hygienists' Association (CDHA). These roles have allowed me to connect with colleagues across the state, mentor student hygienists, and advocate for the growth of the dental hygiene profession.
Beyond my work in dentistry, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog and family, supporting local businesses, and connecting with our amazing community.

What makes us different? We're not a typical dental office. As a dedicated dental hygiene and myofunctional therapy practice, we focus solely on prevention and functional health, giving you more time, attention, and customized care. If any treatment is needed outside of what we can offer, we'll work closely with your dentist. Our modern collaborative model means we can work alongside any dentist you choose- so if you already have a dentist, that's perfect! We'll partner with them to support your ongoing care.
